Hello, I’m Sarah and together with Steve, my husband, I look forward to welcoming you at the New Inn at Eype.

Summer is here and what could be better than relaxing with a drink in our pretty terraced garden looking out over an outstanding view of gently rolling tree-topped hills?

Our lovely pub was formerly Paradise Cottage. It became The New Inn in 1876 when the Old Inn burnt down and the public house was relocated to its present site.

We are proud of our well-stocked friendly bar and two spacious interconnected dining areas. There’s plenty of room for families, walkers, cyclists, dogs and their owners.

I carefully plan our weekly changing menu which always includes classic pub food alongside imaginative seasonal and daily specials. The highlight of the week is our great traditional Sunday roast.

Our popular specials board changes every day so make sure you check it before you order.

All our food is wholesome, made in-house, cooked to order and as far as possible, locally sourced. We always have at least three vegetarian starters and mains and many dishes are gluten-free.

As all dishes are made to order the kitchen can be very flexible, enabling us to cater for a wide variety of dietary needs including half portions for children and those with smaller appetites.

My approach is simple ‘’Nothing is too much trouble. It makes me feel good to see my customers enjoying themselves”

We have a small amount of parking space outside and there is further parking at the beach close by. Both the pub and the beach are dog friendly, all year round.
